Floating Hyacinth

Water Hyacinth, also known as Eichhornia crassipes, is a classic floating plant for regular ponds, patio ponds, and summer tubs. It's great for absorbing excess nutrients and competing against algae. It has such a cool funky look with rounded floating stems and long hanging roots that give fish and other pond animals extra cover. If you want something that makes a setup look full fast, floating hyacinth is a really great choice!

We like water hyacinth because it brings a lot of texture to the surface and helps give patio ponds that lush, natural look. The floating growth can help create shade, which a lot of pond fish appreciate, especially during the warmer months. Be sure to keep the tops of the leaves dry, as they may die if they're constantly wet.

DISCLAIMER: Some states prohibit water hyacinth. It's the consumer's responsibility to be aware of their state's laws.

You will receive one (2) floating plant. Size may vary.
