Zpacks - Arc Haul Shoulder Straps

These interchangeable, detachable shoulder straps can be attached to all Zpacks backpacks made in late 2024 or later. Just make sure your old straps have clips at the top if retrofitting an existing pack.

These straps include a sternum strap, a pair of tiny oval carabiners to attach them, and a pair of 20" (51 cm) x 1/2" webbing that connects the bottom of the straps to your backpack. Load lifter webbing is also included, and is detachable and not needed with our frameless backpacks.

Vest straps also include a second sternum strap and a second set of 20" (51 cm) x 1/2" webbing w/ D rings which should be looped-on near the corners of your pack.

Standard Straps

Comfy 2.75" wide contoured shoulder straps made with 3/8" closed cell foam and 3D mesh on the underside for cushion and breathability. The straps have a daisy chain for clipping on items like our popular shoulder pouches, shoulder pouches w/ zipper, water bottle sleeves. An adjustable position sternum strap is included, as well as removable load lifter straps to help pull the backpack in over your shoulders.

Small/Women's Straps

Designed for smaller-framed hikers, these straps are a more compact version of our Standard Straps. They are slightly narrower at 2.5 inches wide and a couple of inches shorter in length. A sternum strap, and removable load lifter straps are included.

Vest Straps

Our harness style Vest Straps feature comfy 3/8" thick padding at the shoulders and layered 3D mesh throughout that help wrap and hug your body providing a secure fit when navigating technical terrain or trail running. Each side of the strap features an integrated stretchy Lycra water bottle pockets that fits a 1L SmartWater or Body Armor Bottle, or a soft bottle flask, a stow pocket, and a small zippered pocket perfect for storing energy gels or your keys. The straps have a daisy chain for clipping the two adjustable sternum straps, and load lifter straps are also included.
